Vancouver's
AfrikaDey Festival is hosted by the
African Heritage
Society to promote economic
development through increased exposure for minority
owned businesses. African-Canadian owned businesses have
the opportunity to showcase their products and services to
the public and procurement officers from major
corporations and Government Entities.

It is also an opportunity
for major corporations and Government entities to
develop viable working relationships with minority
owned businesses while marketing their products and
services to a growing consumer market. This is an
opportunity to network with other businesses while
building a stronger business community.
AfrikaDey Festival was also created
to provide a venue for African Roots, Worldbeat and
Urban Music
in Cultural Extravaganza while heightening awareness and building
appreciation for the contributions of African-Canadians to the
local arts and culture communities. This event brings together
Africans from all over the World, and people from other cultures
in one venue for two days of Celebration.
